Red Roof Inn Slidell

The hotel is recently remodeled. However, they used some old materials. Toilet seat wasn’t new. Bathtub wasn’t new. Shower had low pressure. Has tile floors, which is great! Pet friendly. Cleaning staff did not leave AC on and room was hot. Also, because AC was off, floors were super wet. I almost fell when we walked in. As you got to the bathroom, those floors had a lot of water. I used towels to mop up water on floors and went to office for more and to inform them that AC was off and we had a hot, wet room. Staff was very friendly. Room was clean… except under the bed. We had a pet that found its way under the bed. They should enclose the bottom back of the bed. It’s enclosed on 3 sides. We had to pull the bed out and coax our fur baby out using the ironing board to get up under the bed. A privacy fence in back would be nice to block the back of a shopping center. Good pet walking areas. Room was large, had microwave and fridge. We would stay again.

I just want to say the reason I keep coming back is Ms Lisa. I have come here since it was deluxe and Ms. Lisa is the glue that keeps this place together. I honestly do not believe she gets enough credit for work she puts in day in and out. I come every few months the past 10 years whether its for work with my husband or for parades or concerts in the city. Ms Lisa goes above and beyond not just for me but I see it for everyone she helps. I can see why she is Manager she is truly amazing. Whether is a ear to talk to or just going the extra mile for towels places around to try or just making sure we are comfortable thats Ms Lisa. During night shift the other lady who works is very nice as well. But honestly Ms Lisa is the reason we keep coming back and will continue to come back.

Definitely one of the better RedRoof Inn locations. Guy at the front desk was very professional, and it looks like a recent renovation has been done to the property. Room was clean. Plenty of truck parking around back. I enjoyed my stay.

Not bad but definitely shows the use. Rusty fridge on the inside as well as rust on the AC vents.

Very private and accommodating. I had my service dog with me and they were very nice about having him with us. It is unusual for a hotel to be so accommodating for him. Highly recommend. We weren't bothered at all. They made sure we had everything we needed.

Front office staff friendly. Room was clean, shower tile was fairly new. No hairdryer, or tissues. Only 3 pillows for a king bed, also could of used one more full size towels. We received 2. The bedding was old and thin. Ac unit worked good. Lots of noise around 5 am with the grocery store delivers. Pet friendly, would stay again for the price.

I'm a bit surprised by the negative reviews for this location. I've stayed in quite a number of Red Roof properties because I travel with a pet. Many are not the best. This property rates amongst the top properties that I've stayed in. Everything was clean, bed comfortable, well lit (felt safe), helpful clerk, just a good one night stay on the road.

Very pleased with the staff. Pet friendly. Staff made sure we were pleased with the room. Location is perfect. Room was comfy and renovated. Will definitely stay again.
